Their interest in the Montessori Method of education began when they chose to send their own daughter to a Montessori long day care center and continued as she attended a Montessori primary school. In the years that followed they worked hard to adopt and apply the Montessori Method. Behind a scanty years it became clear that a larger center would be needed, and in 2008 South bank Montessori moved to its vogue location on Berwick Street. The center was purpose built to face the needs of a Montessori classroom.

Montessori Education provided for children aged 25 years with the earnings of longer hours for active parents. Education at South bank Montessori is based on the principles developed by Maria Montessori. Montessori believes that play is the labor of the child. It is through working playing with the materials as often and for as long as the kid needs that true knowledge is obtained. This enables them to engage in social play with a group of children. New material is presented to a child individually or in trivial groups of children at the identical glossy of development. Materials are structured and presented to enable self teaching and independent activity, which develops self reliance. Through her work with notable needs children she started to develop the Montessori materials that are found in our classroom today. These materials also prepare the kid for mathematics. All children need to be toilet trained for the three year old classroom earlier a place is offered to them. When a place is offered, the families will be provided with a copy of the parent handbook and other suitable information to make your child’s orientation as level as possible. A store of two weeks fees is payable to secure the place offered. Maximum of the children have progressed from Basinghall Street and the educators are building on the skills already learned. As the child’s smooth of concentration develops through working with the feasible life and censorial equipment the educators are qualified to donate materials covering mathematics, language and culture. Helen Kwan directness Helen became involved in Montessori education when her daughter started in a Montessori class at 2 years old. She then changed careers and joined a Montessori school where she worked for 8 years. Her interest in the Montessori methodology and her passion for children led to her completing the Diploma in Montessori Education. She completed her Diploma in Montessori education in 2012 and is currently the directness of the Wombat classroom. For many children this is the first time they have been away from their family and the educators produce a nurturing environment to enable the children to construct their own self confidence. The environment fosters the development of language, toileting and social skills. Being so intrigued by what education can do, Celina went to university in Brazil studying a Bachelor in Education and now as a Montessori student is quiet discovering how strong and outstanding it is to labor as an educator especially with young children with all their happiness, joy and potential. She has since developed a powerful interest in Montessori methodology and is currently studying for a Diploma in Montessori Education. She moved to Perth in 2006 and has continued to labor with children in the child care setting. Ruth has recently completed a Diploma of Children's Services.
